Captain Planet is a world travelling DJ and music producer who blends global styles of music with hip-hop and electronic beats. After cutting his teeth in the competitive New York City club scene, he hosted a popular radio show on the WNYU Radio Station, and started the globally renowned music blog www.MixtapeRiot.com.
He has released 3 full-length albums featuring his trademark "Gumbo Funk" sound on Bastard Jazz Recordings, and can be heard on the soundtracks to multiple popular TV shows such as "Orange Is The New Black", "Entourage", "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" and "CSI:NY" to name a few. Most recently he produced the album "Back To Me" by singer/songwriter Shana Halligan wich was released this Fall on Plug Research records.
